Skill Levels

No license, no problem. It’s drop-in and drive at F1® Box, your ticket into the world of F1® without any experience required. The instant thrill of a fast chicane, whoever you are.

There are five skill levels to choose from, Rookie through to Elite. But choose wisely, driver. Your rivals are unlikely to take any prisoners.

These skill levels mean even a total newbie can take on a sim racing pro.

For the Uninitiated

Skill Level - Rookie
Skill Level- Casual

If you’ve never tried sim racing, start off in one of these two modes. In Rookie, you’ll get the full works. Racing lines, AI assist, auto clutch, brake and steer assist, stability control, anti-lock, spin recovery; all are set to high. It’s like racing an F1® car on rails.

In Casual, the steering assist is set to low, but everything else remains the same as Rookie. The car will take care of itself, you just focus on keeping it on track.

For the Regulars

Skill Level - Semi-Pro

The brake assist is now low, and throttle control is medium – more power for accelerating. Steady. This means you can now also spin out if you mash the go pedal too hard, and you’re not pointing in a straight line.
This one’s best if you’ve mastered Casual.

For the best

Skill Level - Pro
Skill Level- Elite

Now you’re going Pro, there’s no stability control, steering or braking assists. The steering wheel can now also lock you up, like when you turn hard right, then immediately hard left. Sorry, but no spin recovery assistance either.

If you fancy yourself as Elite, then the racing line is gone, the gears are manual and if you find yourself in the pit, you’ll have to put yourself in the right position. Throttle control is low, it’s all on you now.

So, which difficulty level are you? It’s best to start lower than you think and build up.
